CD1 is back with a reinvented name. Formerly known as CD2, we've brought the mold back to the spotlight based on popular demand. The letters "CD" in the name stand for Control Driver, putting the player in the driver’s seat and allowing you full control to manipulate and style the disc exactly how you want it to. CD1 makes for a great first distance driver for less powerful or skilled players and an incredibly useful disc for experts, too. Those with a bit more arm speed will find that this disc often will compete for distance with even their fastest drivers, yet the execution feels more effortless and controlled.

CD1 handles just about any wind condition with ease but is most well suited for tailwinds and calmer weather. Players will notice that the CD1 has the tendency to fly similarly to a well seasoned PD, giving you the right amount of glide and shot shaping options but will always maintain enough stability to end with a smooth low speed fade in the end. If you only had one disc to play a round with, this disc would be an excellent choice.

The FD3 is our true workhorse fairway driver. Featuring a low profile, blunt nose, and concave inner rim, this is the disc to get things done. It can be trusted to handle high amounts of wind, forehand shots, thumber/tomahawk, and snappy backhand throws from even the strongest arms. Every player needs one of these in the bag for its sheer reliability and durability.

This particular batch is going to fly a little more overstable than the stock version of S-Line does but substantially straighter than the European Open Metal Flake run in 2022 and the Color Glow ones in 2023 as well. Do you sometimes wish you could just place the disc where you want it? The FD2 takes you very close to that experience.

The FD2 has the flight characteristics of a stable fairway driver, packed into the ergonomic format of a speed 7 rim. We also dialed down the glide a little so as not to fly past your target. The FD2 has plenty of stability and the fade can be adjusted with arm speed. The harder you throw, the longer it will stay straight before the fade kicks in. A lower launch speed gets you more tightly around near corners.

Superfast overstable drivers are not always the best tool for the job at hand. With the FD2 you also get a healthy dose of control while youre at it. Try one out and take control of your fairway drives!

2020 will be a remarkable year for professional disc golf in Europe as the European Open celebrates its 10th edition. The original European PDGA Major will be held on July 16-19, 2020. The Beast at Nokia, Finland, will host the event for the 7th time since 2011. This is not a festive year for only the European Open. The Presidents Cup team event will also be played for the 10th time!

Avery Jenkins’ special run of Color Glow C-Line PD, The Dark Maul II, is here to kick off the start of the 2020 season. Avery Jenkins is known as the 2009 disc world champion and one of the top ambassadors of the sport across the globe. Avery is a veteran of Team Discmania and one of his favorite Discmania molds has always been the PD.

In terms of flight this disc fits perfectly with what we think a PD should be, reliably straight and stable with a trusted fade at the end. The Dark Maul II maintains this stable flight without becoming too overstable and cutting down its flight early. Players with a strong arm will see this disc get a full flight with little to no turn and a reliable fade at the end. Colten Montgomery’s second version of his signature PD is here with the Lone Howl 2. 

The Discmania PD (Power Driver) is a fast and stable driver that handles wind well. The Discmania FD3 is our most stable fairway driver. For many players it will be an utility driver that only comes out in specific situations, like in strong headwinds or to cut tight corners. For players with more arm speed, it will hold a straight line for a longer time, before the inevitable fade.

The FD3 is no stone without any glide though. For a skilled player it can adapt to many special throws like skip shots, upside-down shots and flex shots. You will not surely need all of these tricks all the time, but to master them gives you more options when you find yourself in a tricky spot.
