Catrina Allen had a remarkable finish to the 2019 season, claiming both the National Tour Series and the Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship titles. As she continues to prove herself as one of the world’s elite disc golfers, we are proud to announce Catrina’s Special Edition Signature Series X3, a fast, slightly overstable driver with incredible glide, in a brand new plastic-type.

The signature disc will be the first release of our 500 Plastic. 500 Plastic has been in development for quite some time, formulated and based on carefully considered player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. This provides an extremely confident grip on the flight plate, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feeling rim that we believe disc golfers are going to love. To top it off, this first release features our Spectrum Line coloring process, boasting bright, colorful swirls to perfectly complement the floral stamp. You can expect the X3 in 500 Plastic to fly very true to its designed characteristics and flight path.

Catrina collaborated with designer Manny Trujillo to come up with the intricate flowery pattern which makes up the stamp along with her name and PDGA number in script. Each flower has its own significance, relating to Catrina’s career — six large lilies for major wins, four small lilies for PDGA Player of the Year wins, three roses for 2019 NT wins and 150 small flowers for her 150-plus career wins.

The MX-3 has quickly become one of the most popular discs in the Prodigy midrange lineup, handling power with finesse and glide. A Word from Will: “I chose the MX-3 because I love its ability to hold torque. It’s my favorite midrange to throw for straight, slow, right to left shots. The 750 Plastic was a great choice because of its stiffness, especially in hot and humid conditions. I find this particular run to be a touch more overstable than the 400 MX-3. We also helped host the first-ever PDGA event in China, and being part of that meant a lot personally. I think it helped to help grow the sport on a whole new level. I’m hoping to go back and help it grow even further.”

A craftsman in the woods, Cale Leiviska has been throwing slick turnovers and straight shots with endless glide for more than a decade on tour. His preferred tool is the M4, a versatile midrange that is a favorite among players of all levels. It comes in a special blend of Gray 400G plastic, similar to older runs of the grippy, durable and easy to find plastic. The space-gray discs come adorned with a “Vitruvian Spaceman,” a play on one of Leonardo Da Vinci’s most famous works. Like Da Vinci, Cale aims to push the limits of what’s possible and explore many different facets of disc golf, on and off the course.

Like the original H3, the H3 V2 is stable to slightly over stable, depending on the thrower’s power. The H3 V2 sports an upgraded shape from the original H3, with a slightly shallower rim depth, offering an easier grip, and an updated outside rim that allows for a consistent, yet faster flight with more glide. This allows the player to gain more distance, while maintaining dependability and a slightly over stable finish. The H3 V2 can handle any condition thrown its way, and is an excellent choice for backhand and side arm throwers alike.
