Simon recently released a Vlog on his YouTube channel revealing that we've been deep in the lab retooling our first 12-speed driver, the Time-Lapse. We've learned some incredibly valuable lessons over the course of the Time-Lapse's history (which you can read about in MVP Disc Sports Co-Founder Brad Richardson's Lab Report), and we've brought all of that experience to bear for the release of the new and improved retooled Neutron Time-Lapse! The Fireball is an overstable distance driver.

The Fireball is overstable and wind-resistant like the MVP Motion, but has an overall straighter and longer flight profile. The Fireball has a longer forward push during its early stage of fade, where the Motion would have begun a long gradual fade. At the end of its flight the Fireball will drop later and more abruptly than the Motion.

The Defy is a stable-overstable high speed distance driver.

The Defy is straight with a nice bite of overstability at the end, and is best described as a heavily seasoned MVP Photon or a longer Axiom Crave. Like the Crave the Defy exhibits remarkable resistance to turnover even at high power. Players seeking a long straight power driver will appreciate the line-locking tendencies of the Defy, and throwers not fully powering the Defy will still get a highly useable long overstable disc.

The MX-2 was originally released as an exclusive model for Prodigy Club members in the Q3 2023 box, and member feedback was taken to confirm flight numbers and the official name of the disc.

For those familiar with our M Series midrange discs, the MX Series midranges are slightly smaller in diameter and slimmer in profile. The MX-2 packs a similar stability to the M1, but with more glide and a later fade in its flight path. It is slightly more overstable than the Isaac Robinson Archive and has a more rounded edge to the rim than an Archive or MX-1.
